Hi. I’m Aaryn!

If you know anything about the enneagram personality test, I am a hard core #7. I love a lot of things that this life has to offer from travelling , trying new experiences, and tasting the best foods.

I started my nutrition journey in 2017 when I tried CrossFit for the first time. I had no idea what the heck I was doing at the time, but I loved how strong I started to feel. I became really curious about how to match my nutrition with my workouts. I had grown up as a competitive swimmer, cross country runner, and water polo player, but I never thought about how impactful my nutrition could have been until I started lifting weights and working with a barbell.

Long story short, I started to track my macros and loved the awareness that it brought me! I had no idea 2 tablespoons of peanut butter was that little, but it allowed me to fully comprehend what my body needed in order to reach my goals, activity level and my lifestyle to optimize my overall health.

Understanding macronutrients was a game changer for me in many areas of my life, but most of all… It allowed me to experience freedom in the way I lived my life, while still including foods I genuinely love to eat and learning what foods loved me back.
